Momauwi Woods
Dining at Carolina Kitchen

Day  4: "Do 4 Self"  Freedom requires you to support your community

Today I spent $120 Black Dollaz! I had lunch at Carolina Kitchen, purchased books from TLJ Book Kiosk in PG Plaza Shopping Center near my home town. The Decor and menu was the best at Carolina Kitchen, I really loved how the Restrooms are labeled "Queens" and "Kings" and the meal was delicious.  The service was great. As soon as we entered we were greeted by the hostess with the famous "Welcome, Welcome, Welcome" and then a young African American women walked up to us and introduced her self as the manager encouraging us to enjoy a great time.  I thought to myself, This place should be giving Fridays and Jaspers, Outback and all the other smelly popular hangouts some serious competition, but its not. (sadly)

Here are the facts: African Americans are the largest consumers, with black buying power on track to reach  $1.2 million by 2015. But what's terrible is that, we are not supporting our own.

WHY SHOULD YOU SUPPORT BLACK BUSINESS, HOW DOES THIS HELP YOU DO 4 SELF?

Look I'm not gonna try and talk you into supporting your own people. I could give you stats and data attempting to encourage you to support your own. But I'm not. If you don't want to -DON'T!   If by now you don't understand that we all are one people and if we don't love and support us FIRST no one will!

I AM TROY DAVIS.................TRAVEL WELL BROTHER.
